Taipei Police Chief Sentenced to 12 Years and 6 Months for Accepting Bribes and Cryptocurrency in 'Taiwanese Cambodia' Scandal

In a shocking 'Taiwanese Cambodia' fraud and abuse case, the director of the Ningxia Police Station in Datong Branch was sentenced to 12 years and 6 months for accepting bribes, cash, a Mercedes-Benz car, and Thaida currency from the ringleader 'Blue Road' Du Chengzhe to leak law enforcement schedules and personal information. The case imprisoned 61 individuals, resulted in 3 deaths, and involved nearly 400 million NTD in fraudulent activities. Du Chengzhe alleged that the director, Yeh Yuxin, leaked information to him, but Yeh claimed he only used the money for criminal investigations. The court also sentenced Du Chengzhe to 2 years and 8 months and a female accomplice to 1 year for money laundering. Both parties have the right to appeal.
