On June 20, 2024, at 4:10 pm, Taipei's prime properties are scarce, attracting developers to launch hotel projects. Recent transactions show that a 114-square-meter, 7-story 'Anhe Boutique Business Hotel' near MRT Xinyi Anhe Station on Anhe Road was sold for about 920 million NT with a land price reaching 8.06 million NT per square meter. With the gradual recovery of the domestic tourism industry post-pandemic, hotel sales have decreased, with only three hotel transactions in Taipei in recent years, including this Anhe Road hotel sale and others like 'Taipei Green Dot Hotel' and 'Ximending Rich Garden. Renovating or rebuilding old hotels has become a trend during the pandemic, attracting investors due to the stable cash flow and prime locations for long-term investment.
