Taipei District Prosecutor's Office announced that they will not prosecute Central Motion Picture Corporation Chairman Guo Taiqiang, legal director Lin Kun-huang, and manager Bai Hui-yao on charges of fraud in a case involving director Wei Te-sheng. The dispute stems from claims by Central Motion Picture Corporation and Xin Hong International that Wei owes 45 million NTD, which Wei denies, citing a disagreement over payment for film rights in their 2011 agreement. Despite continued legal battles, the prosecutor found insufficient evidence to support the charges and decided not to prosecute Guo and others. Both sides continue to navigate the legal dispute, with Wei hoping for justice for his film company and himself, while Guo emphasizes the company's investment in Wei's films.
