Taipei Residents Celebrate 'Taipei Version of Dragon Boat Festival' with Sesame and Coix Seed Soup and Zongzi

At the Wanhe Temple in Nantun District, volunteer mothers woke up at 6 am to prepare 250 jin of sesame and coix seed, creating a large pot of soup for nearly a thousand people to enjoy along with zongzi on the square in front of the temple. This unique way of eating is special to Taipei residents and included activities like the 'standing egg challenge' and traditional customs such as wearing wooden clogs and participating in the dragon boat parade, attracting over a thousand people to indulge in the local delicacies.
