A customer dining at a high-end BBQ restaurant in NanGang, Taipei, found a cockroach in their drink and was only offered a 20% discount as compensation by the restaurant. The customer expressed disbelief at the handling of the situation and the lack of explanation from the establishment. The Taipei City Health Bureau will conduct an inspection on the restaurant, and if found in violation of food safety regulations, penalties may range from a minimum of 60,000 New Taiwan Dollars to a maximum of 2 million New Taiwan Dollars.
