Under the trial implementation of home emergency care, Taipei University Hospital is currently observing and has not applied to join the new system. They believe that home emergency care for complex and rapidly changing emergency cases poses risks, and the effectiveness of such programs may differ from expectations. Other hospitals, like Shin Kong Hospital and Taipei Veterans General Hospital, have submitted applications to participate in the program, aiming to provide more options for emergency patients. However, challenges such as nursing staff shortages and conflicting perceptions of home care persist in the healthcare community.
