Taiwan Affairs Commission Chair Wu Chia-lung clarified during a legislative inquiry that the radar functions mentioned are disclosed in the public procurement announcement, not classified, and do not constitute a leak of sensitive information. This response came after retired Rear Admiral Li Cheng-chieh accused Wu of 'leaking' sensitive data. Wu had addressed the radar monitoring system's search range in light of a recent incident involving a Chinese speedboat intruding into the mouth of the Tamsui River.
