In response to increasing threats from the PLA, the Taiwan Ministry of National Defense recently reported to the Legislative Yuan on upgrades to the Sky Bow 3 and Extended Range Sky Bow 3 missile systems to enhance overall defense capabilities. The Air Force's allocation of 8.3 billion NTD for Tien Kung 3 missile testing has sparked attention, with Minister of National Defense, Gu Li Xiong addressing the matter. The Tien Kung 3 missile system, developed by the Chung Shan Institute of Science and Technology, is designed for increased battlefield survivability to protect national security. The project, running from June 18 until the end of 125th Republic of China Year, involves the Air Force's Air Defense and Missile Command, and the winning bid was awarded to the Chung Shan Institute of Science and Technology.
