At a recent baseball game between the Hanshin Tigers and the Seibu Lions in Japan, Taiwanese actress Uchida Rio participated in the 'Taiwan Day' event by throwing the ceremonial first pitch. The 32-year-old Uchida, a well-known figure in both Taiwan and Japan, rated her pitching performance at 70. Former Hanshin Tigers player Lin Wei-chieh was also present as a special guest at the event, where fans sang his support song 'Inferno's Hit.' This marks the sixth time that Hanshin has hosted a 'Taiwan Day' event since 2016, with cheerleaders from all six CPBL teams participating alongside the TigersGirls cheerleading squad.
