Taiwan Futures: Decrease in Foreign Net Short Positions

The foreign net short positions in Taiwan Futures decreased by 463 contracts to 12,855 contracts. On June 14, Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Co. contributed 0.33% to the stock index, which increased by 192.68 points to close at 22,504.72 points. Foreign net short positions decreased, while specific institutional investors increased their net short positions. The options market saw an increase in the put/call ratio, and the VIX index rose slightly. Following a cooldown in the US consumer price index and other economic indicators, market expectations of a Fed rate cut strengthened, leading to a decline in US bond yields.
