The newly implemented legislative power amendment has opposition parties vowing to investigate government corruption, but are cautious about the first target for investigation. KMT legislators explain that the first case should demonstrate effects and yield concrete results, so the choice must be carefully made. Currently, the likelihood of the Super Idea Egg case being the initial investigation is high. KMT caucus members also revealed that public opinion, particularly from the People First Party caucus questioning the Super Idea Egg case, will be considered in choosing the first case for investigation. KMT legislators mentioned that investigations may focus on various alleged wrongdoings during the Tsai administration, including the Super Idea Egg case, vaccine and rapid test procurement cases, with a particular emphasis on achieving tangible outcomes. The KMT caucus is aiming to 'focus efforts' effectively and considers the Super Idea Egg case as a probable first investigation. Discussions also touched on the possibility of inviting the elusive head of Super Idea company, Qin Yuqiao, to explain. Additionally, there was a light moment during the meeting when a KMT legislator mistakenly mentioned Taipei City Councilor Qin Huizhu instead.
