Taiwan International Ports Corporation has launched a digitalization initiative at Taichung Port to enhance efficiency in application processing, disaster prevention, and road underground pipeline management. This effort aims to prevent accidents, enhance disaster response, and streamline the operations at one of Taiwan's seven major international commercial ports. The digitalization system will be implemented in two phases, starting with Taichung Port and eventually expanding to other ports, leading to a more transparent and efficient process, reducing paperwork, and aiding in decision-making and management at the port.
