Taiwan Mobile has been selected as a component stock for the seventh consecutive year in the investment-type ESG index 'Taiwan Sustainable Index,' which integrates ESG and financial indicators, and has been awarded the exclusive component stock badge. The index, aiming to recognize Taiwan companies practicing sustainable development responsibilities in line with index rules, consists of Taiwan-listed stocks from the FTSE4Good Emerging Market Index. Taiwan Mobile's chairman, James Jeng, expressed the company's commitment to sustainability through various initiatives, including participating in the EV100 initiative, pledging to fully transition all company vehicles to electric by 2030, expanding renewable energy deployment, and setting a sustainable development roadmap with the '2035 Vision Plan' and a dedicated sustainability committee at the board level.
