At the shareholders' meeting of Taiwan Plastic Corp. today, Chairman Chen Baolong expressed optimism about the future market, expecting a better second half of the year compared to the first. Despite various global economic challenges faced last year, Chen pointed out positive factors such as reduction in oil supply, oil price stabilization due to conflicts, and increased profit margins for the company. Looking ahead, Chen anticipates better performance in the second half of the year driven by the peak oil consumption season and potential U.S. interest rate cuts.
