Taiwan Power Company Reveals '5 Major Dangerous Charging Behaviors' Leading to Explosion Resulting in 3 Deaths

A fire in a New Taipei City house this morning, suspected to be caused by a lithium battery charging explosion, led to the death of 3 residents who couldn't escape in time. Taiwan Power Company's Facebook page has listed '5 Major Dangerous Charging Behaviors' including charging while sleeping or when no one is home, charging in humid or high-temperature environments, and more, to prevent such accidents. They emphasized not using non-original charging cables or equipment, avoiding charging in the presence of flammable materials, and disconnecting when fully charged to ensure safety and prolong battery life.
