This incident has garnered significant attention, with Democratic Progressive Party (DPP) legislator Hsu Chih-chieh expressing shock upon hearing the news and stating his trust in the justice system to handle the case fairly. Zheng denied any wrongdoing and stated he would fully cooperate with the investigation to prove his innocence.
