After the legislative expansion bill reconsideration was rejected by the Legislative Yuan, President Tsai Ing-wen has signed the law and made it public today. However, adding comments to amend the law has triggered constitutional controversies. President Tsai personally presided over her first 'Open Talk' since taking office, emphasizing the petition for constitutional interpretation and interim disposition to the Constitutional Court.
