On June 12th, 2024, at 11:22 PM, Chaozhou's deputy station master, surnamed Qiu, of the Taiwan Railway stated that he will no longer share videos of passengers breaking the rules in the future. Recently, videos of him holding an air gun and threatening netizens were discovered, sparking controversy and leading to him being reprimanded twice by Taiwan Railway. Qiu, the deputy station master, stated that he accepts the punishment and will return to being an ordinary grassroots supervisor, no longer posting videos of passengers breaking the rules in the future. He also mentioned that the air gun has been tested by the police and deemed compliant, and was returned to him. Lastly, he referred to a Bible verse for self-encouragement amidst the situation.
