Jialu Station located in Fangshan Township, Pingtung County, is known as the 'largest small station' in southern Taiwan. Despite only having an average of 2 passengers boarding daily, it has transformed with diversified operations, exceeding one million in monthly freight revenue. Capitalizing on the trend of 'Blue Skin Worry-free Train,' it offers limited edition business card-style tickets for only 15 NT dollars each. The station, renowned for its freight operations, also features the only station helipad in Taiwan and interactive activities with the station cat 'Nami.' Taiwan Railways Chairman Du Wei praised Jialu Station's diversified operations during his visit, emphasizing safety and hydration in hot weather as crucial, acknowledging the station's success as a symbol of the company's efforts.
