The Mainland Affairs Council in Taiwan has adjusted travel advisories for mainland China, Hong Kong, and Macau to 'orange' for 'non-essential travel,' in response to China's recent 'punishment for separatism' measures. Additionally, Taiwan's new loan policy aimed at easing housing pressures for young people, called 'New Qing'an,' has faced criticism for potentially fueling rising housing prices. The policy is now limited to one loan per borrower, with penalties for violations. The Ministry of Finance is taking strict actions against speculators and property flippers. Furthermore, the Council has raised travel warnings to 'orange' for visits to China, Hong Kong, and Macau due to threats posed by China's recent punitive measures against separatism, including the death penalty for severe cases.
