On July 2, 2024, the People's Party legislative caucus in Taiwan announced three resolutions - establishing two committees after the implementation of the parliamentary hearing investigation system, proposing President Lai Ching-te to deliver a national status report at the Legislative Yuan on July 12 in accordance with the Legislative Yuan Powers Exercise Act, and opposing raising the recall threshold in the Election and Recall Law.
