Taiwan Television News website reports that on June 11, 2024, at 1:27 AM, the Executive Yuan submitted a reconsideration of the parliamentary rights reform to the President for approval. President Lai Ching-te approved the reconsideration and sent the official document to the Executive Yuan on the same day at 11 AM, notifying the Legislative Yuan through the Presidential Office Secretary-General. Both ruling and opposition parties will engage in a 15-day battle with the Democratic Progressive Party mobilizing under the slogan 'Blue Bird Flies out of Taipei,' led by Party Chairman Lai Ching-te to initiate island-wide campaigns using social media and public outreach methods, while the Kuomintang plans to invite the Premier to explain the case in the Legislative Yuan and conduct extensive public speaking tours in every county and city.
