The Taiwan Progressive Party has accused Kuomintang lawmaker Xu Qiaoxin of involvement in a money laundering case related to relatives of a prominent figure. Claiming unclear financial transactions, the party reported Xu to prosecutors for fraud, profiteering, and misrepresentation. In response, Xu denies the allegations, asserting that any banking law violations should be aimed at the bank involved.
