A fire broke out in the Daxi District of Taoyuan City this afternoon, with intense flames producing thick black smoke visible even from miles away on National Freeway No. 3. Initial investigations report no casualties, and the fire has been brought under control. The cause of the fire and extent of damage are still pending investigation. The fire occurred in a four-story metal structure building, with the fire starting on the second and third floors. Firefighters managed to evacuate all staff, preventing any casualties, and are now working to contain the fire within a 50-square-meter area, while investigations into the cause and losses are ongoing.
