The Taiwan Railway Administration's Zhongli Station, known as the 'ugliest train station in Taiwan,' is set to make history as it closes on June 15 due to the Taoyuan Railway Underground Project. A temporary station will take over on June 16 to continue serving passengers. The new Zhongli Station is a key project under the Taoyuan Railway Underground Plan, involving intricate coordination for the construction of underground tunnels and station connections. Transport Minister Li Meng-Yen emphasized the importance of safety and convenience during this transition period.
