In response to recent reports of Mainland Chinese official media suspected of monitoring Taiwan's political talk shows, the Mainland China Affairs Council stated that after investigation, the media involved claimed that their news reports had contained sources and could not reveal them due to journalistic ethics. The relevant administrative investigation involving Mainland Chinese stationed journalists was completed by the Mainland China Affairs Council, Ministry of Culture, and Broadcasting and Television Association. Measures are being strengthened for managing Mainland Chinese stationed journalists in Taiwan to ensure compliance with regulations; violators will face legal consequences.
