In an effort to address the speculation driving up property prices, Taiwan's government is taking action against high-risk 'speculative buyers' with over 1700 cases of breach of contract. The Ministry of Finance plans to mark these cases in the credit records and conduct thorough investigations within a month. The new housing policy, known as New Qing'an, is being exploited for speculative purposes, prompting the government to implement measures to prevent misuse and deter such practices in the future.
