Taipei Fubon Bank, a subsidiary of Fubon Financial Holding, has been approved by the Financial Supervisory Commission to establish a branch in Tokyo, Japan, expanding its service network to Northeast Asia. Fubon Bank also reveals plans to actively prepare for a branch in Mumbai, India, and a representative office in Seoul, South Korea, aiming to expand cross-border financial services through a comprehensive Asia-Pacific service network. The move is seen as capitalizing on the potential for increased Taiwan-Japan business opportunities, especially with the establishment of new factories in Japan by companies like TSMC, attracting Taiwanese suppliers and investors.
