A 17-year-old high school student, the first victim in a recent subway attack in Taichung, Taiwan, expressed gratitude towards the public for their support. Despite sustaining severe injuries and receiving extensive blood transfusions, the student plans to attend a blood donation event on July 26 to show appreciation. The student revealed that he didn't run during the attack because he couldn't imagine someone wielding a knife on the subway. The student's father also announced plans for the blood donation event, thanking everyone for their support in saving his son's life.
