In a recent incident at an elementary school in Kaohsiung, a third-grade student suddenly became uncontrollable in class and started physically assaulting more than 10 classmates, likened to 'hitting them like a rugby ball.' Although some students sustained minor injuries, luckily no one was seriously hurt. The student's emotional instability is attributed to a lack of proper support and cultural barriers between the mother and local resources. The education bureau is working to provide the necessary assistance and has facilitated a special education evaluation for the student, aiming to balance the needs of both neurotypical and special needs students in the school environment.
