A Taiwanese tour bus was involved in an accident in South Korea's Gyeongsangnam-do Province on July 3 around 12:30 p.m. A car veered into the opposite lane and collided with the Taiwanese tour bus, resulting in the death of the car driver and 10 Taiwanese tourists being sent to the hospital for examination, with one suffering a more severe eye injury. Investigations indicate the accident was caused by the car trying to overtake across the center line. The National Tourism Administration mentioned that proper insurance coverage was in place for the tour group and that the travel agency was handling the situation and providing necessary assistance to the tourists.
