A woman named Qiu from Tainan relentlessly pursued a man named Ah Zheng, who dresses as a monk, claiming that he also liked her and seduced her. Qiu sent messages and made calls, even deceiving police officers into contacting Ah Zheng under false pretenses. Despite having a fiancee, Ah Zheng was continuously harassed by Qiu, who showed up at his house multiple times demanding to see him. Frustrated, Ah Zheng sought a restraining order against Qiu, who continued to pester him, resulting in a court judgment that Qiu pay 200,000 yuan for emotional distress and 1,245 yuan for the taxi fee his fiancee had covered. Qiu cited bipolar disorder during the trial, but the judge ruled that she had the capacity to control her actions and sentenced her to compensate Ah Zheng for the harassment he endured.
