Two major Realtor associations, the Pinellas Realtor Organization/Central Pasco Realtor Organization (PRO-CPRO) and the Greater Tampa Realtors (GTR), have announced a merger to form the Tampa Bay Realtors, becoming the third largest in Florida and the sixth largest in the U.S. The unified group, once approved by the National Association of Realtors (NAR), will serve over 24,000 real estate professionals in the Tampa-area counties of Hillsborough, Pinellas, and Pasco. The merger will not impact MLS services as they will continue to partner with Stellar MLS, and there are no planned staffing cuts. The new organization will be led by co-CEOs David Bennett and Jason Outman and aims to provide localized services and cutting-edge programs while leveraging the resources of both associations.
