Taoyuan International Airport's outsourced projects have faced multiple failures this year, including incidents such as a cleaning vehicle damaging the train carriages connecting Terminal 1 and Terminal 2, ceiling collapse in the passenger rest area, and water leakage in the food court and VIP lounge due to roofing waterproofing errors. The airport authorities are planning substantial penalties for the contractors involved, totaling two million NTD for comprehensive waterproofing work scheduled over two years, with the possibility of contract termination for repeated incidents.
