A serious motorcycle accident occurred in the early hours of June 26, 2024, in Tainan, Taiwan, as a 19-year-old male rider, carrying an 18-year-old female passenger, crashed into a guardrail on National Highway 84, causing both to be thrown off the bike. Despite medical efforts, the female passenger succumbed to her injuries. The victim's sister tearfully recounted dreaming of being covered in blood and her sister taking her to the hospital, only to wake up and hear of her sister's tragic accident. The male rider, a high school classmate of the victim, only possessed a regular motorcycle license and was riding above his permitted level, leading to the fatal crash.
