In a residential area of New Taipei City on June 11, 2024, gunshots were heard around 2 a.m., resulting in numerous bullet holes in the windows of a house. The police quickly apprehended five suspects within 20 minutes of being notified, with the main 19-year-old suspect revealing his discontent for being 'betrayed' by the victim and involving in a drug case before. The group retaliated by shooting at the house in the middle of the night. The suspects were found to have used BB guns and other weapons for the attack.
