Recent developments include Chunghwa Telecom obtaining media rights for the Paris Olympics to boost Hami Video subscriptions and forecasts indicating an increase of 200,000 users during the Olympics. Taiwan Mobile's strategic investments and content acquisitions, including securing the Taiwanese rights for the Chinese drama 'Blossoms,' showcase their effort to attract more subscribers and expand globally. Far EasTone has also seen growth by offering popular Korean dramas like 'The Rich Son,' almost comparable to Taiwan Mobile's market share with MyVideo, with notable attention.
