Pavel Durov, the founder and CEO of Telegram, was detained at Paris-Le Bourget Airport on an arrest warrant alleging his messaging platform facilitated money laundering and drug trafficking. Durov, who holds dual citizenship in France and Russia, was taken into custody after arriving from Azerbaijan. French authorities are investigating the platform for its connections to various crimes, including exploitation of minors.
