Tenable CEO Amit Yoran Passes Away After Cancer Battle

Amit Yoran, the CEO and chairman of cybersecurity firm Tenable Holdings, has died at the age of 54 after a battle with cancer. Joining Tenable in 2016, Yoran played a significant role in the company's growth and its 2018 IPO. Following his medical leave, CFO Steve Vintz and COO Mark Thurmond were appointed as co-CEOs, with Art Coviello taking over as chair of the board. Yoran's career included key positions in the cybersecurity industry, notably at Dell Technologies and the U.S. Department of Homeland Security.
