Hsieh Su-wei, currently ranked world No.2 in women's doubles tennis, has confirmed her partnership with 20-year-old Cao Jia-yi for the upcoming Paris Olympics. Hsieh's brother, Hsieh Cheng-ying, will serve as the coach for the team. Additionally, the Taiwan Tennis Association has submitted another women's doubles team with sisters Chan Hao-ching and Chan Yung-jan to potentially continue their success after winning gold at the Hangzhou Asian Games. The association also discussed entries for men's singles, women's singles, and men's doubles events to secure Olympic qualification.
