According to SET News on June 7, 2024, at around 6:17 pm, an angler was stranded on a rock due to the surging creek at the Chiayi County Zhuqi Township Waterfront Park. The man was surrounded by muddy water, needing rescue. Fortunately, after being rescued by firefighters, the man was unharmed and refused medical treatment. Firefighters remind the public to stay away from dangerous water areas during the rainy season to avoid accidents.
