Tesla has postponed the production launch of a lower-cost Model Y in the U.S., which was expected to boost sales. Initially planned for the first half of the year, the new timeline suggests production may not start until later this year or early next year. With plans for 250,000 units in the U.S. by 2026, the budget Model Y, known as E41, will also see production in China and Europe, as Tesla aims to attract new customers amid declining sales and market share.
