The first SEC game between Texas and Oklahoma will kick off at 3:30 p.m. ET on Oct. 12, instead of the usual noon ET start time. ESPN also announced changes to other college football rivalry games, such as the Egg Bowl moving to Black Friday and Georgia vs. Georgia Tech also being scheduled for that day. The 2024 college football season sees new television deals and changes in conference alignments, with ESPN holding the rights to all SEC telecasts and other networks sharing broadcasting rights for different conferences.
