The Electric Reliability Council of Texas has warned of extreme weather risks, with the grid already experiencing stress ahead of the summer peak season. Southern parts of Texas will see temperatures above 100F, and electricity demand is projected to hit record highs. Additionally, more than 10 million people in parts of Texas are bracing for storms.
