A serious fire broke out in a three-story house on Guangming Road in Sanchong District, New Taipei City, putting a same-sex couple in danger. One of the women, Ms. Hsu, is now in critical condition after risking her life to save her partner, Ms. Sung. Despite being rescued and resuscitated, both women are still in a precarious state. The cause of the fire is under investigation, with the mother of one of the victims collapsing upon hearing the news, while her dog was safely rescued.
