In the early hours of the morning at 3:30 am, an earthquake struck Tainan, Taiwan, with the epicenter 35.3 kilometers northeast of Tainan City Government in Liuying District, measuring 3.4 on the Richter scale at a depth of 8.7 kilometers, categorized as a very shallow earthquake. Just 2 minutes before this earthquake, another magnitude 4.0 earthquake occurred in the same area. Various regions felt the tremors, with Tainan City experiencing back-to-back earthquakes within 2 minutes.
