In the recently published '2025 Global Best Universities' ranking by U.S. News & World Report, two private universities, China Medical University and Asia University, have entered the top 1000 along with National Taiwan University. China Medical University is ranked second in Taiwan, following NTU, while Asia University is also in the top rankings. The rankings include 11 Taiwanese universities in the top 1000 globally, with various universities excelling in different fields like AI, green sustainability, and information engineering.
