Tzu Chi Distributes Compassion Allowance to Noto Peninsula after Earthquake

From June 28-30, Tzu Chi Foundation conducted a three-day distribution of compassion allowance in various areas of Noto Peninsula, Japan, providing financial assistance to 5,171 households affected by the severe earthquake that struck on January 1, 2024. The initiative aimed to offer support and care to the Japanese residents and involved volunteers verifying documents, distributing funds based on household size, and providing blessings like peace charms and pineapple cakes. The effort was greatly appreciated by the recipients, and local Japanese volunteers also participated, showcasing the unity and mutual aid between Taiwan and Japan during times of need.
