In Changhua, the unmarried association event held on July 5th for Chinese Valentine's Day saw both the male and female quotas of 100 people each being filled in less than 3 days, with 4 Ph.D. holders and 31 Master's degree holders among the 200 registered participants. Due to the overwhelming response, the mayor is considering increasing the number of participants. This event, organized by the Changhua City Hall for the fifth consecutive year, aims to match single men and women aged 20 to 45, with successful pairings receiving prizes and even a 50-inch TV as a wedding gift if they marry by December 31, 2026.
