US Job Growth Revised Down by Nearly 600,000 Through March

The U.S. economy's job growth for the year ending in March was revised down by 598,000 jobs, according to the Labor Department's Bureau of Labor Statistics. This revision is lower than the previously anticipated reduction of 818,000 jobs announced in August. Economists had predicted a decrease of around 668,000 jobs due to updates in employment data.
